Cleveland Cavaliers job may not be desirable situation for Spartans' Tom Izzo if LeBron James leaves
Ryan/AP Michigan State's Tom Izzo says that he doesn't want to leave the Spartans until he wins a second national championship, even if leaving means coaching LeBron James (b.) in Cleveland.

Kudos to Gilbert, a self made Michigan State alum and long time Izzo admirer, converse pas cher femme, for recognizing and respecting the greatness of this superb teacher and college coach. Izzo has won one national championship and coached the Spartans to six final Fours and 13 straight NCAA Tournament appearances in his first 15 years as a head coach.
But there is no way that Izzo or any other marquee candidate should take on that job until he knows where LeBron James is going to call home after July 1.
The Cavs are an Eastern Conference contender with the King.
They will be a sinking franchise in Lake Erie if this Elvis leaves the building for good.
The 6 8, 245 pound James, one of the most physically gifted players on the planet, has teams like Cleveland, Chicago, the Knicks and the Nets salivating over the idea of having him suit up in their uniform.
Mayor Bloomberg, who refused to take sides between the Knicks and Nets, hogan outlet online, has promoted our city as "the biggest stage in the world." Knicks president Donnie Walsh who has tanked two seasons in order to shed enough salary cap space for James has also tried to recruit the Yankees to go to bat for his cause.
Bulls fans paid for a huge billboard hanging above the intersection of Grand Ave. and La Salle St. that says, mulberry purse, "Chicago wants LeBron." Cavs fans, nike tn trainers, including Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, participated in a group sing along video to the tune of "We Are The World" entitled "Please Stay LeBron," and even President Obama weighed in, first suggesting James should go to the President's hometown of Chicago, then flip flopping and saying it would be a feel good story if James re signed with the Cavs.
While Izzo has had to recruit and develop great players, he has never had to bow down to heavily hyped franchise players.
Why should he now become subject to the whims of a player who not only dictates his future, but is shaping the franchise legacies and economic revitalization of cities?
The 27 year old James has indicated Cleveland has the edge at this point, but the courtship for his services has yet to begin in earnest and there is a good possibility he and his cabinet of advisers could keep everyone in suspense until August.
The Cavs, who desperately need to rebuild their credibility after losing to the Boston Celtics in a second round series, will do everything in their power to keep James.
But Izzo should be cautious. He is the longest tenured coach in the Big Ten. He enjoys living and working in East Lansing the only place he has ever been a head coach and has job security with a contract that extends through 2016.
The Cavs' front office, on the other hand, is totally unsettled after the ousting of GM Danny Ferry and Brown. Even if James re signs, the only guarantee is that Izzo will face tremendous pressure to win an NBA championship to solidify LeBron's greatness, while fans may tend to ignore his.
Izzo has long been intrigued with the idea of coaching in the NBA,hogan milano, but he turned down an offer to coach the Atlanta Hawks in 2000 and has said he did not want to entertain the idea of coaching in the league until after he has won a second national title at MSU. Interestingly, louboutin pas cher, he returns a team next season that could do just that.
Izzo is generally considered one of the two best coaches in the college game, escarpin louboutin pas cher, along with Mike Krzyzewski of Duke. Coach K has spurned at least five offers from the NBA,louboutin paris, the most famous coming from the Los Angeles Lakers, converse pas cher, who offered him a $4 million a year job in 2004.
He knew the honeymoon could be short lived at the highest level and realized the Camelot he created at Duke is more appealing than living in David Stern's fiefdom, nike tn soldes.

Certainly the way the season has gone, hogan outlet milano, Brett Gardner's spectacular catch was proof this would be another night when the Yankees and Mets would go their separate ways.

Indiana's George taken to LeSchool Apparently, defending Carmelo Anthony just isn't the same as trying to stop LeBron James. Paul George, the Pacers' small forward, has emerged as the rising young star of the NBA playoffs, with his strong defensive performance against Anthony in the second round.
